A Day in Joshua Tree National Park

During our recent holiday trip to Los Angeles we decided to drive out and spend a day at the Joshua Tree National Park. Often those places you hear the most about are the hardest to live up to expectations but the day was just magic. Even though there are many other visitors on the roads, it doesn't take long to walk down a path a find yourself completely alone. The changes in color and shadow as the day drew to a close made for some wonderful scenes, hope you enjoy a (very small) selection of my pics and if you're looking for a more comprehensive guide (rather than just my pretty pictures!) head over to this story from Live Once Live Wild.
