Custom Print Edition produced with artist Zoe Dering for Ocean View Villa project. Interior Design: Irongate.

Inventive and thoughtful art placement can elevate spaces of all scales.

We understand that art curation and procurement is often the final piece of the puzzle for interior designers and as a result is sometimes left with little budget or time when their team is already stretched.

Partnering with us means we can become creative collaborators early on in the design process and can make use of that longer lead time to come up with a variety of innovative directions. We handle all the sourcing and present options within the prescribed budget, then arrange custom framing, crating, shipping and oversee installation where required.

Our Directors are both internationally exhibiting artists and bring a unique professional background and in-depth understanding of the contemporary art world and art market to each  of our art consulting projects.

Our Approach.

An Expert Eye

The curation of our custom art packages focuses on unique and limited edition works often sourced directly from artists. Using our large network of emerging, unrepresented artists we are able to either purchase existing work or commission new pieces without the added expense of going through a commercial gallery.

Valuing our Collaborators

Each of our collaborations is structured to support the work of the artists we invite; we highly value their individual practices and approaches,  ensuring partnerships are equitable and mutually enriching.

Connecting to a Story

Responding to the context of the site, the architecture and interior selections are paramount when conceiving of and curating our art packages.  Our aim is for the selected artworks to add a rich layer of interest that contributes to the narrative of the space’s design.

Museum-Quality Works

We always produce work with the highest quality materials and our understanding of archival standards ensure that pieces are made to last. Our studio is run by working artists which means we are able to offer the unique combination of art consulting services and in-house custom fabrication.

Our Capabilities.

Procurement

We understand that thoughtful art sourcing can be time consuming. We take on the process of connecting directly with a wide array of artists and dealers to present clients with artwork options that go beyond the typical commercial art sources.

Fabrication

Beyond the production of printed editions we have the capabilities to produce new pieces in an array of different mediums including plaster reliefs, wood and textile. Often we will also collaborate with other creative studios to complete larger-scale work that may require the use of specialized machinery.

Artist Commissions

Drawing on our extensive network of emerging and mid-career artists, we can facilitate the commissioning of new work created specifically for any space. We take care of all communication and artist liaising as well as contract negotiation and project management from the production process through to shipping.

Custom Framing

Carefully selected framing can elevate artworks and ensure they fit harmoniously with the selected materials throughout the space. We work with numerous framing partners depending on the project; they allow us to offer framing options ranging from the most cost effective through to premium, museum-quality frames.

Print Editions

If a project requires multiples (ie. hotel rooms, furnished condos), we have the capacity to produce limited edition prints in our studio and can collaborate with invited artists to produce the imagery for each edition. We offer clients the option for these designs to be exclusive to their project, meaning they wouldn’t be reproduced or used anywhere else.

Shipping & Installation

Experienced in the packing, shipping and installation process, we bring an understanding of industry standards for the handling of fine art pieces. We ensure that works are appropriately crated, where necessary we take care of importation documentation and finally we provide expert on-site supervision and direction during artwork install.

Our Work.

A group of our recently completed projects that range in scale from hotel suites to large residences and showcase an array of our art consulting capabilities and expertise.

Woodside Home

We curated and acquired an 18-piece collection of contemporary artworks for a family home in Woodside, California. In the living spaces, large works made the most of the home’s great ceiling height and for bedrooms, a carefully selected group of fine art prints are featured.

Beach Front Casita

A forty-piece art package that we curated for a pair of extraordinary six-bedroom properties located at Costa Palmas on the East Cape of Cabo, Mexico.

Casita

Our consulting on this property involved the procurement of limited edition works on paper and commissioning of two original artworks for install across the Primary Bedroom, Family Room and Dining Room spaces.

Ocean View Villa

This six-bedroom property took its stylistic cues from the “sculptural organic” and our forty-piece art package similarly drew from that inspiration.

The Wall Street Hotel

In this unique partnership we worked in collaboration with interior designers Rose Ink Workshop and APY Art Center, an indigenous Australian art collective whose artists were invited to create new works for the newly opened Wall Street Hotel in New York.

Our Artist Editions

We work directly with interior designers to curate pieces from our artist editions that and oversee custom framing and shipping, providing a seamless process for our clients. Becoming a Trade Member means prints are always offered at a 15% discount.

Working With Us.

1.

We begin by connecting with a call to outline your specific needs. We like to understand how you have approached your client’s space and any early ideas you had about art placements. Additionally we will chat about your budget and what the possibilities are to provide the most exciting package of art that works within that range.

2.

During the first call we can look through any elevations, plans, photos, FFE selects and dimensions you have for the project or these can be provided as a follow-up via email.

3.

We take all of that direction and the provided design materials to produce a proposal document that often includes 2-3 options for each placement along with lead times and costs that are always inclusive of our fee and custom framing. If necessary, additional rounds of this proposal document can be produced until package is finalized.

4.

Once the final group of works are selected we oversee their procurement or production, either in-house in our studio or we act as the project manager for new artist commissions. We arrange custom framing, shipping and where needed can organize professional installation services on site.
