Studio Visit | Jonathan Ryan Storm

On the occasion of our print launch with artist, Jonathan Ryan Storm we wanted to share images from a studio visit we were lucky enough to squeeze in back in July. Ryan has since moved to a bigger spot so this tour may well be have been last documentation of his home studio!

In his studio Ryan has sketchbooks full of ideas living in pencil and crayon waiting to become paintings. Across his practice, there is an adept skill at choosing just the right scale for each project and Ryan can somehow have just as much going on in a postcard-sized drawing as a giant painting.

Ryan is no stranger to collaboration, having recently produced a fabulous sold out limited edition blanket with Slowdown Studio. We are thrilled to share his work with those who weren't familiar with it and for those that are, to present his unmistakably compelling visuals in the medium of screenprint.
