Printing Our Alyson Fox Edition

This week we are thrilled to finally share the nine new prints we have produced in collaboration with Austin-based designer Alyson Fox. These captivating shapes were so much fun to print and we choose a beautiful Stonehenge "Fawn" paper that give them a warm, neutral background.

Because these were relatively basic shapes we created our own separations from black cardboard. This saved the money of printing out transparencies and meant that this was a rare digital-free screenprinting project.

Once all of our nine screens had their shape exposed we were ready to roll.

As we've been doing lately, we used Golden Acrylics with their Silkscreen Medium so we could nice a nice, flat coverage of high-quality color. (the coverage extended to our studio jeans...)

Finishing touch is our Print Club chop on each corner and written edition annotation on the backside of each print. These nine were each printed in an edition of only 12 so a very limited run!
