Cody Hoyt

Cody Hoyt (b. 1980) holds a degree in printmaking from Massachusetts College of Art. He has exhibited in the US and abroad, including galleries such as Patrick Parrish, David Gill, UNTITLED Art fair and Design Miami. His work has been featured in Juxtapoz, Architectural Digest, and American Craft Magazine. In 2018 he was a recipient of a Peter S. Reed grant, and a ceramics resident at Anderson Ranch.


Inspired by a range of multimedia references, from sculptures by Ken Price and John Mason, to Japanese Nerikomi pottery, to the Memphis Group, founded by Ettore Sottsass, Hoyt’s work blends detailed, geometric form with function.
